Welcome to my Web Site "Photo @ Slenn".

In early 2013, after many many years of thinking about it, I finally bought my first DSLR camera - a Nikon D3200. I had previously heard the phrases 'f stops', 'focal length', 'depth of field' and 'white balance' without fully understanding what they were or how to use them.

This Web Site documents my efforts as I come to grips with the various techniques involved in the use of digital photography. The examples on this site are not neccessarily my best (and I've certainly taken worse!!) but they are key points in my journey. A journey that continues as I master my new camera, the Nikon D7200.
